Live Streaming Funerals
When it comes to funerals many people are against taking pictures and videos – at least in the room where the service is taking place, it can seem disrespectful. However, here at 4Live we are looking at ways to improve our funeral service in a time of need during what is a very difficult time with heavy social distancing restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic.
4Live believes that live streaming a funeral will be the best alternative for families and friends to attend and pay their respects to our loved ones. There are many ways where anyone can watch live streaming taking place at funerals, such as Facebook Live, YouTube, and Zoom in real time.
Benefits of Live Streaming
The benefits of live streaming a funeral service is that friends and family can participate in the memorial service, even when its physically impossible to attend in person. Plus, the bereaved may be too upset to remember the funeral services – so, our broadcast allows you to watch the live stream at a later time, for up to 7 days after the funeral.
Funerals can be a stressful time, especially those who are related to the loved one. A Live stream can provide comfort and peace of mind to the bereaved, knowing that those unable to attend the funeral due to restrictions or ill health can still participate in the memorial.
"4Live is urging people to bear in mind that live streaming is not designed to, and cannot replace family and friends attending funerals"
